SAPA

Last of 3 nights in Sapa which is a town in the mountains to the north of Hanoi. We knew it would be colder but we hadn’t banked on it being mist covered most of the time. We’ve had showers of rain and sun has been trying to come out but it has curtailed a few of the things we wanted to do, so we have just taken it as some chill out days.

Today we hired a car and driver and went out to see some waterfalls and viewpoints with little expectation of seeing anything due to mist but it did lift.

Silver Falls
I’ve been having real problems with my hip but the boys have been brilliant and helping me out so I actually get to see some of the scenery. Today was a tough walk for me but foot and neck massage when we got back also helped!!

This is supposed to show Fangispan mountain, the biggest mountain here but all I got was an atmospheric shot!!

We have enjoyed the rest here but will be glad to be moving south back to the sun! Overnight train back to Hanoi tomorrow!
